It’s springtime at the farm, and we are gearing up for a wonderful growing season. The best thing you can have at home to complement fresh produce is homegrown herbs. Now you can create a custom herb planter to keep on your patio or outside your kitchen door.

Imagine snipping fresh basil for tomato-mozzarella salad. Lemon thyme is a fabulous addition to chicken marinades. Rosemary makes the best roasted potatoes. You can have them all at your fingertips.

Herb planters make wonderful gifts for Mother’s Day. Grab your friends and  visit Bialas Farms to spend a fun hour getting a little dirty and learning about plants. Dads, bring the (well-behaved) kids to make Mom a planter!

You select two (2) herbs from Bialas Farms’ inventory of annual and
perennial herbs. Choose two alike or different, the choice is yours!

We will:
• assist you in selecting the herbs and provide tips
for “companion planting”
• guide you through the process of planting them
in the oval planters provided
• give you tips for caring for your plants

As a bonus, you’ll receive The FarmGirl Cooks’ comprehensive
Herb Cheat Sheet. This will give you plenty of options for using and preserving your herbal harvest.

Cost: $40, payable in advance
Includes
one planter, two herb plants, all planting medium, plant markers, and The FarmGirl’s Herb Cheat Sheet.

Guests may purchase and create up to 2 more planters at a cost of $25 each (cash or credit, paid during the session) if time and inventory allow.
